Discovery's Charcoal finish is trendy and represents our version of a grey finish. Most grey finishes in the youth market today have an industrial feel. In contrast, Charcoal stays true to our transitional/mission roots while adding an exciting brushed texture and slight black glaze, giving it a high-end, weathered appearance. Charcoal has a 6-step finish and is coated top with a durable wax and subtle sheen. The finish works well with the brushed nickel hardware, and while transitional, it can work as a contemporary or coastal finish.
Our 5-drawer Chest is a beautifully crafted complement to any bed. It is constructed out of solid pine. The drawers feature European drawer glides and positive stops for smooth opening and closing. We include an anti-tip kit for safety with all of our chests.

Solid Construction
Quality construction is essential when building and designing children's furniture. This product is constructed from solid wood (no MDF or particleboard is used). All aspects of this bed were first created using 3D software, ensuring that the Chest's overall design is sound and all safety issues are adequately addressed. Plantation-grown furniture-grade Pine is used in construction, making this Chest extremely strong. This item complies with ASTM F2057-23 standards for anti-tip.

Drawer Details
Each drawer provides lots of storage for clothes, toys, or other items. European Roller Glides are added to make opening and closing drawers smooth and easy. Brushed nickel pulls and an anti-tip kit are included.
