The Discovery World Furniture Chestnut Mission Style Twin over Full Loft is one of the newest designs. This loft bed has classic vertical supports for strength and good looks. Discovery’s Chestnut finish is a dark rustic finish on solid hardwood. It is a high end finish by any standard. It is a 7-step textured, brushed, wash-glazed and lacquered finish that contains a rich dark brown base tone yet allows the character of the shine through. The finish is top-coated with a subtle sheen. The Chestnut finish works well with the antique English hardware and is considered to have a Coastal, a Nautical and a Farmhouse feel. The design and the solid hardwood construction will look great and give you years on enjoyment. The smooth chestnut finish works well for Boys and Girls. The Discovery World Furniture Loft Bed uses steel hardware ( Bronze Color External Hardware ) and have metal to metal connection for all structural support making the bed strong and able to take apart and re-assemble without loosing structural integrity. The ladder has an angled design for easy access to the top bed. The TOP LOFT bed is stand alone, this means that the lower bed is not connected or structural. There are wheels that come with the lower bed you can use them or store them they are not necessary for assembly simple an optional part. The spacious 6 drawer chest that supports the top bed come fully assembled saving you a lot of time during assembly. There is also a built in bookshelf for storage that can be access by persons using the lower bed area as well as from the drawer side.

The chest unit includes a total of six (6) dresser-sized drawers and four (4) shelves. The inside dimensions of the drawers measure 15" D x 25" W x 4 3/4" T. The chest unit ships completely assembled and can be placed on either side of the bed. 

The 6 drawers within the chest section feature solid wood construction, and European roller drawer glides with a positive stop, which prevents the drawer from falling to the ground if pulled out too hard.
